Why are there no Saturday tours?
· Beth Sholom closes for tours on the Jewish Sabbath, no exceptions.
Why are there no tours on what appear to be random days?
· Beth Sholom closes for all Jewish Holidays. Jewish Holidays are based on the Hebrew calendar. They do not fall on the same date on the Gregorian calendar every year. For more information on the Hebrew calendar – www.hebcal.com.
· As a functioning Synagogue there are various events that may be scheduled during tour hours – Weddings, B’nai Mitzvot, Hebrew School, etc.
Why would there be last minute changes to the tour schedule?
· Jewish Funerals are scheduled as soon as possible after a death. We do not permit visitors to be in the building 1 hour prior to and during a Funeral out of respect to our families.
Photography of Beth Sholom Synagogue, interior and exterior, is permitted for Personal Use Only.
