Bikur Holim
Bikur Holim
As part of Jewish custom, the synagogue community offers prayers for the sick when the Torah is read. In addition, the synagogue maintains a list on our bulletin board that is found opposite the main office and which serves as a vehicle to inform our community about those who are ill.
It is a mitzvah to visit the sick. Flowers from the Mitzvah garden are taken to our sick congregants. Meals are also prepared by volunteers.
