Creative Movement

Montessori Playing

Children learn through movement and play. Creative movement is a program targeted to children in the 2, 3, and Pre-K groups. This active time allows children to explore through rhythm and dance as well as imaginative play. This class is taught once a week.

Program includes activities such as:

  • Scarf movement
  • Airplane pretend play
  • Animal impersonation
  • Moving to music
  • Gross motor skill development
