Infant Center

Preschool

Age: 6 weeks to about a year

Infants and babies are cared for with great attention at the Infant Center. During this early time, babies are nurtured in a loving atmosphere especially created for children of this age. The Infant Center works with each child to suit his or her own individual needs.

The room is filled with baby safe toys and is safe for exploration. This room is rigorously cleaned and disinfected to limit children’s exposure to germs.

Staff are carefully chosen for their ability to foster a warm and gentle environment. All staff members have been trained in 1st aid, infant CPR and fire safety. The staff to child ratio is 3 to 1, which is better than the state requirement.

  • Gross motor skills such as learning to sit, crawl and walk
