The Golden Book & Archives

Beth Sholom maintains unique Archives to record the leadership and historical highlights of the congregation. One feature of the Archives is the Golden Book, which is stored in a specially designed oak-framed case. In addition to archival materials preserving the significant events in Beth Sholom's past, the Archives contain the entire correspondence between the late Rabbi Mortimer J. Cohen and the architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. The Archives were, for many years, lovingly conserved by Mr. Robert Weil, in whose memory the Golden Book was dedicated in 1995 by the Board of Directors.
