Beth Sholom Congregation was founded in Logan in 1919, where the congregation built its first school and synagogue. Today located in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, Beth Sholom was the first Philadelphia congregation to move to the suburbs in the 1950s.
The Congregation has a membership of 1,000 families. It has a Men's Club of 350, a Sisterhood of 400, a Couples Club, and a Single’s Group.
