Youth Group Programming

Youth programming is designed to build friendships and to reinforce Jewish values that are taught in our Hebrew School, in an informal and fun social setting. Children participate in age-appropriate activities with their friends on a regular monthly schedule.

Aleph-Bet (Grades 3 & 4) participants enjoy activities such as winter sleepovers at the Franklin Institute or the New Jersey Aquarium.

Kadima (Grades 5-7) involves visiting the Philadelphia Geriatric Center on Shabbat, participating in social activities such as roller skating parties, and attending professional sporting events.

USY (Grades 8-12) offers six to eight activities per month, including a weekly teen service run by USY members, monthly visits to the Philadelphia Geriatric Center, dances, ski trips, and numerous other social activities. Leadership Training program and USY Convention are a significant part of this group.
